Sheed Wallace had it right when he uttered the words “ball don’t lie” in registering his disagreement with a call a ref had made in an early 2012 NBA game.

Because the “deflate-gate” scandal currently engulfing the New England Patriots invariably has a quantitative, chart-based angle to it, I present the following, which highlights total cumulative fumbles and offensive plays per fumble by NFL team since 2010.

The Patriots seem somewhat “off-trend” and as they would remind you and kindly request: “Nothing to see here; please move on”.
